Case 1 of 3RespiratoryCough
A 46-year-old male presents to your clinic with a chronic cough, facial pain, and rhinitis that have been present for the past 3 months and have become more bothersome over the past month. He describes the cough as worse at night, with a sensation of postnasal drip. On examination, there is marked tenderness over the maxillary sinuses, and nasal polyps are visible on anterior rhinoscopy. Based on the duration of symptoms and these exam findings, he is diagnosed with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyposis (CRSwNP).
